“O tic-tac do relógio eu considero que seja um modelo do que chamamos um argumento, uma organização que humaniza o tempo lhe dando uma forma; e o intervalo entre o tic e o tac representa o tempo puramente sucessivo, desorganizado que necessitamos humanizar. “The clock’s tick-tock I take to be a model of what we call a plot, an organization that humanizes time by giving it form; and the interval between tock and tick represents purely successive, disorganized time of the sort that we need to humanize. (...) The interval must be purged of simple chronicity, of the emptiness of tock-tick, humanly uninteresting human successiveness. - a interconexão, o intertextual, a interdisciplinaridade, a inter-relação, a posição intermediária que é sempre a da comunicação, que conecta, negocia, intermedeia, relaciona, faz poderosas conexões onde só haveria isolamento e falta de informação, numa palavra silêncio

Mas também INTERIN tem a ver com

- o tempo que está no meio, que é o tempo de nossa vida, o tempo no qual nos comunicamos, nos encontramos e desencontramos só para ter mais elementos de comunicação. Vivemos num tempo entre tempos cada vez mais sutis, que nos afetam com seu sumiço quase instantâneo, num ínterim que é inteiramente inter-relativo, dependente de nossas mídias, que nos afetam e são por nós afetadas, e de nosso incessante navegar pelo fluxo das redes, das interligações sem as quais já não é possível imaginar uma existência na contemporaneidade

English Version:

Our journal is related with

- the interconnection, the intertextual, the interdisciplinary, the inter-related, the intermediate position which is always that occupied by communication, which connects, negotiates, intermediates, relates, makes powerful connections where there would only be isolation and lack of information, in short, silence.

But INTERIN is also related with

- the time which is in between, which is the time of our life, the time in which we communicate, we meet and fall apart again just to have materials for further communication. We live in a time betwixt times which are increasingly subtler, which affect us by their almost instantaneous vanishing. An interin that is entirely interrelated, entirely dependent on our media, which both affect us and are affected by us, and on our ceaseless journeying along the flux of the networks, of the interlinking without which it is no longer possible to imagine any existence in our present time.

Proposta

INTERIN procura se converter em âmbito acadêmico multidisciplinar propício para apresentar e refletir sobre:

1)o desenvolvimento das novas tecnologias de comunicação, o poder ubíquo da mobilidade e o crescente alcance da interconexão simultânea e coletiva da sociedade, que produz e é produzida pelas novas mídias eletrônicas;

2) a comunicação para pensar (sobre) e atuar na análise dos processos de significação midiática, na produção e veiculação de discursos, no estabelecimento de vínculos em contextos socioculturais e no estudo de objetos em mídias diversas, como o jornal, a revista, o rádio, a televisão, a publicidade, o video e o cinema.
INTERIN está aberta a artigos, entrevistas, resenhas e clips enviados por pesquisadores nacionais e estrangeiros, relativos à área de Comunicação.

As opiniões e conceitos expressados nos artigos publicados são de exclusiva responsabilidade dos autores.

Proposal

INTERIN aims at becoming an adequate academic multidisciplinary domain to present and ponder the development

1) of the new technologies of communication, the pervasive power of mobility and the growing reach of simultaneous and collective interconnectivity of the society that produces and is in turn produced by the new electronic media;

2) a communication project to think about and act in the analysis of the meaning processes of contemporary media, in the production and transmission of discourses, in the establishment of links in social-cultural contexts, and in the study of objects in media, such as newspaper, magazine, radio, television, publicity and cinema.

Opinions and concepts expressed in the published articles are of exclusive responsibility of the authors.

INTERESSES

INTERIN tem especial interesse em:

- abordagens múltiplas da complexidade comunicacional;
- reflexões sobre o impacto das novas tecnologias no contexto sociocultural
- resenhas de obras relevantes no campo da significação midiática
- imagens artísticas que reflitam aspectos comunicacionais
- entrevistas com pesquisadores/autores contemporâneos

Pela sua vocação pluralista, Interin aceita manuscritos em português, inglês, francês, italiano, alemão e espanhol.

Os textos e imagens deverão ser enviados por correio eletrônico. O recebimento será confirmado pelos editores. Os autores devem dar o direito autoral à revista INTERIN quando enviarem seu trabalho, preenchendo e assinando um formulário no website da revista.

INTERESTS

INTERIN has special interest in:

- multiple approaches to our contemporary communicational complexity
- studies on the impact of the new technologies within social-cultural contexts
- reviews of relevant works in the field of media signification
- artistic imagery about communicational aspects
- interviews with contemporary researchers/authors

On account of its pluralist vocation, Interin accepts manuscripts in Portuguese, English, French, Italian, German and Spanish.

Manuscripts and images should be sent by email. Receipt of materials will be acknowledged by email. Authors must yield their copyright to Interin upon sending their work, by filling out and signing the permission form which is to be found on the Journal’s website.
